In this episode we visit the small but beautifully formed Crypt Museum at All Hallows Church by the Tower. Easy to get to from Tower Hill tube station - turn right as you exit and if you pass a large section of Roman wall and a statue of Trajan, you´re on the right track. It´s a great little place to visit if you can.

Here are the photos of our favourite exhibits to accompany the episode.

Oil lamps (lucernae)

Clay fragments of votive figurines
